A driver in Essex has been handed a six-month driving ban and a fine after an object flew from the roof of their vehicle and smashed into a police car's windscreen.
The incident occurred when the object, which had been on the car roof, became airborne and struck the windscreen of a police vehicle. The driver was subsequently prosecuted and received the ban along with a financial penalty.
