The headquarters of Ireland's public service broadcaster RTÉ in Donnybrook, Dublin, was evacuated on Friday morning following a bomb threat received via email.
Police respond to threat
Staff left the RTÉ buildings as gardaí, the Irish police, arrived at the scene to conduct searches.
Wider threat to media organisations
In a statement, gardaí said they were aware of a threat made against media organisations in Ireland and across Europe. They added that they were liaising with the affected Irish media organisations and that the threats would be investigated.
