Fox News anchor Jesse Watters warned Thursday that Republican midterm losses in Texas could doom the party's presidential prospects indefinitely unless the GOP recaptures the state.
Historic Democratic Wins in Texas
Democrats achieved breakthrough victories in the Lone Star State. James Talarico defeated Attorney General Ken Paxton to claim the party's first Senate seat since 1988, while Gina Hinojosa became the first Latina to win the governor's mansion.
Watters' Dire Warning
On his show "Midterms Wake-Up Call," Watters said the left wants to "extinguish" the MAGA movement, abolish the Electoral College, impeach the president, and even execute Elon Musk. He declared that if Texas remains Democratic, "a Republican will never sniff the White House ever again."
Racial Politics and Voting Trends
Watters highlighted comments from Texas Democrat Gene Wu, the new state House majority leader, about minority communities uniting against a shared oppressor. Watters framed this as a "political race war" and claimed Republicans nearly lost the white vote, noting Democrats haven't won a majority of white voters since 1964.
Other Comments on Iran and Hunter Biden
Earlier on "The Five," Watters insisted Donald Trump can still "stick the landing" on the Iran war. He also launched into a comparison of Hunter Biden with Trump's sons, saying Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump "create value" through minerals, drones, and real estate.
