Police Search for Group

The incident occurred outside St Peter's High School on Chalford Road around 08:50 GMT. Officers said one male was seen with a "long-bladed item" during the confrontation, and the group fled the area before police arrived.

Schools Secure, Parents Advised

St Peter's High School and nearby Willow Primary Academy locked down as a precaution. Police emphasized there was "no ongoing threat at the school" and that pupils were safe within the grounds. Parents were asked not to attend the schools.

A parent, identified as Adam, said he felt frightened but was relieved after texting his daughter and confirming she was safe. The school had messaged parents that the situation was under control.

No other injuries have been reported. The investigation continues.
