Celebrity Traitors winner King Kenny, whose full name is Kenny Ojuederie, has dismissed speculation that he is dating his co-star Maya Jama, saying the pair simply laugh at the rumors. Both appeared as traitors on the second series of the BBC show, which concluded last week.
Co-stars address paparazzi attention
During an appearance on Capital XTRA Breakfast, host Robert Bruce asked Kenny about persistent paparazzi photos linking him with Jama. Kenny replied that they "just laugh at it, to be honest" and added that such attention is inevitable when in the limelight. Jama was also a traitor this series and was eliminated at the final roundtable, while Kenny reached the final four before being voted out at the fire pit.
Finale attracts record audience
The series was won by actor Sebastian Croft and comedian Romesh Ranganathan, both faithfuls, who will split the £83,000 prize pot. Croft is donating his £41,500 share to the charity Choose Love, while Ranganathan will give his winnings to the Refugee Council. The finale drew an average overnight audience of 11.2 million viewers, peaking at 11.6 million with a 62.9% audience share on BBC One, making it the most-watched episode of the celebrity spin-off to date.
