Big John Fisher loses seven stone after Eddie Hall warning

Social media personality Big John Fisher has revealed he lost seven stone (98 pounds) after a stark warning from former World's Strongest Man Eddie Hall that he could be "dead within two years" if he did not lose weight.

Weight gain after father's death

The 53-year-old, known online as "the Boshfather," told Good Morning Britain on Thursday that his weight gain began after his father died. He described food as a source of solace during a period of stress over work and finances. Fisher, who was once an amateur boxer and high-level footballer, said he did not realize how much weight he had gained until the warning.

Diet overhaul and professional guidance

Over the past 12 months, Fisher has cut out carbohydrates and increased his meat intake. He enlisted Hall, who delivered the blunt health warning after seeing Fisher in person. Fisher acknowledged he remains overweight but said he has made significant progress.

Family reality series launches

Fisher's weight-loss journey is documented in the new reality series "Meet The Fishers," which debuts on Paramount+ on Thursday. The show follows Fisher, his wife Charlotte, and their four children, including professional heavyweight boxer Johnny Fisher, known as "The Romford Bull."
