Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mark Rowley is backing a major restructuring of policing in England and Wales that would create eight super-forces.
The Metropolitan Police chief is expected to call for a radical overhaul of the current police force structure across both nations, consolidating them into eight larger regional forces.
