The Metropolitan Police have released footage of Russell Brand being questioned by detectives over rape and sexual assault allegations, following the actor's conviction for raping one fan and sexually assaulting three women during his entertainment career. The interviews, conducted between 2023 and 2025, were made public on Thursday after a jury found Brand guilty.
Brand's statements during questioning
During one of the four interviews, Brand described his lifestyle as "very promiscuous" but claimed a "defamatory and fictitious documentary" prompted the allegations against him. The force spoke to the celebrity on four separate occasions as part of the investigation.
