A star from the hit series Yellowjackets has been cast to portray convicted Australian mushroom killer Erin Patterson in an upcoming true crime drama for Paramount+.

The streaming service is developing a series centered on Patterson, who was convicted of murdering three relatives with poisonous mushrooms served at a family lunch in 2023. The case drew intense media attention in Australia and internationally.
Production Details
Paramount+ has greenlit the project as part of its expanding true crime slate. The Yellowjackets actor, whose name has not been disclosed, will take on the lead role depicting Patterson throughout the investigation and trial.
