Big John Fisher Loses Seven Stone After Eddie Hall Warning

By Fatma Younis

Social media personality Big John Fisher has disclosed he lost seven stone (98 lbs) following a stark health warning from strongman Eddie Hall. The 53-year-old, known as "the Boshfather," shared his journey on Good Morning Britain.

Weight gain after father's death

Fisher explained he turned to food for solace after his father's death, leading to significant weight gain. He acknowledged the weight crept up unnoticed, saying he still thought of himself as the fit amateur boxer and footballer he once was.

Hall's warning spurs change

Hall told Fisher he would be dead within two years if he did not lose weight. Fisher has since cut carbohydrates and increased meat intake, documenting his progress for the family's new reality series "Meet The Fishers" launching on Paramount+.

Family and boxing background

Fisher is the father of professional heavyweight boxer Johnny Fisher, known as "The Romford Bull." The series will showcase the family's life, including Fisher's fitness efforts with Hall's support.
