Italian chef Davide Tamburella was dismissed from a Brisbane restaurant in May following management concerns about a series of complaints regarding his behavior, including his refusal to prepare ham and pineapple pizza for a function.
It was the third time in four years that Tamburella had declined to use pineapple on pizzas, stating that doing so was "offensive to his culture," according to reports.
