The second season of the legal drama "All's Fair" premiered on Hulu and Disney+ on November 4 to similarly scathing reviews as its debut season. Created by Ryan Murphy and starring Kim Kardashian alongside Niecy Nash, Sarah Paulson, Teyana Taylor, Glenn Close and Naomi Watts, the series first launched in November 2025 to widespread critical derision.
First season backlash and unexpected success
Kardashian recently revealed she feared her career might be over after reading the initial reviews, but the negative publicity ultimately drove viewership. "People came in and wanted to hate on it so much that the hate turned into viewers wanting to see how bad it was," the 46-year-old said. "They tuned in and they made it like a number one show for weeks on end because they were tuning in to see how ridiculous we would be."
Second season receives similarly harsh reviews
Critics have now delivered their verdict on the new season. The Telegraph's Ed Power awarded one star, writing that he feels sorry for Close and Watts. "Here are two world-class actresses who deserve better than this purgatorial late phase to their careers," Power wrote, adding that the series "might just qualify as the worst TV series of the 21st century."

Ready Steady Cut was slightly more generous with two stars. Critic Jonathon Wilson expressed confusion over the show's tone: "I am convinced that this isn't a show that's intended to be taken seriously, but it sometimes acts like one, which makes me confused." He noted that a camp satire starring Kardashian fits Murphy's brand, but a serious legal drama starring her "sounds awful."
Mixed reactions from reviewers
The Guardian's Lucy Mangan also gave one star but conceded she started to enjoy the series. "At some point you realise that you are having fun, instead of, like last time, holding your jaw off the ground and wondering how television could be this bad," Mangan wrote. "It has started groping its way towards 'so bad it's good' territory."
