Celebrity Traitors winner King Kenny has dismissed speculation that he is in a relationship with co-star Maya Jama, saying the pair simply laugh at the rumors.
Rumors addressed on radio show
During an appearance on Capital XTRA Breakfast, Kenny, whose full name is Kenny Ojuederie, was asked by host Robert Bruce about paparazzi photos linking him to Jama. He replied that they “just laugh at it” and move on, attributing the attention to being in the limelight.
Celebrity Traitors series concludes
Both Kenny and Jama served as traitors on the second celebrity series of the BBC show, which concluded last week. Kenny reached the final four before being voted out, while Jama was eliminated at the final roundtable.
Winners and charity donations
The series was won by actor Sebastian Croft and comedian Romesh Ranganathan, both faithfuls, who will split the £83,000 prize pot. Croft is donating his £41,500 share to Choose Love, and Ranganathan said he will give his winnings to the Refugee Council.
Record viewership for finale
The finale attracted an average overnight audience of 11.2 million viewers, the highest for the celebrity spin-off to date, with a peak of 11.6 million and a 62.9% audience share on BBC One.
