Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham is set to unveil a new trade deal with the European Union worth billions of pounds, aimed at boosting Britain's economy.
The agreement is being framed as a potential "launch pad" for the UK to eventually rejoin the bloc, according to advice given to Burnham.
