A woman who suffered from years of unexplained headaches discovered a sight-threatening condition during a routine eye test at Boots Opticians, leading to her being rushed to hospital. The condition, which had caused her chronic headaches, was detected by an optician during a standard examination, prompting an immediate emergency referral for urgent treatment.
