South Korea's military said North Korea fired an unidentified projectile toward the sea on Wednesday, the latest in a series of weapons tests.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff in Seoul provided no details on the type of weapon. The launch comes as North Korea has increased testing in recent weeks, likely to gain leverage in potential diplomacy with the U.S. after President Donald Trump signaled a desire to resume talks with Kim Jong Un.
