Paris Saint-Germain opened up a three-point lead at the top of the Champions League standings after a comprehensive 6-0 victory over Villarreal on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Harry Kane failed to match Cristiano Ronaldo's milestone of scoring in 11 straight Champions League matches as Bayern Munich secured a 2-0 win at Atletico Madrid.

PSG 6-0 Villarreal

Luis Enrique's side scored four times in the first 17 minutes through Joao Neves, Desire Doue, Senny Mayulu and Fabian Ruiz. Ruiz added a second early in the second half and substitute David Boly completed the rout in the 78th minute, giving PSG a 10th consecutive win in all competitions.

Bayern Munich 2-0 Atletico Madrid

Kane, playing his first European game since winning the Ballon d'Or, drew a blank but provided the assist for Konrad Laimer's goal that sealed the victory. Teenager Lennart Karl had opened the scoring for the German champions.

Barcelona 3-0 Aston Villa

Barcelona moved up to second place by ending Aston Villa's perfect record with a 3-0 win at the Nou Camp. Lamine Yamal gave the hosts an early lead before Raphinha struck twice in the second half to secure a third European victory in four matches.

Manchester United 3-2 Roma

At Old Trafford, Manchester United overturned a 2-0 half-time deficit to beat Roma 3-2, ending a nine-game winless run. Bruno Fernandes converted a retaken penalty to spark the comeback, and Matheus Cunha scored twice before being sent off in stoppage time.
