Yemen's internationally recognized government has accused Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Lebanon's Hezbollah of dispatching 21 experts to support Houthi rebels, according to a statement released by Yemeni officials.

The allegation comes amid broader questions about the stability of Iran's regional "axis," the potential for Gulf states to become drawn into the conflict, and the extent of Iranian weaponry supplied to the Houthis. Analysts also continue to debate the internal leadership dynamics within Iran.
