A Mississippi man hit two major jackpots in just three days at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi, walking away with combined winnings of more than $300,000.

First jackpot on Friday

Kevin Baker, a Biloxi resident, won $156,476.27 last Friday with a $10 bet on the 10-cent Magic Treasures Gold Empress slot machine. The jackpot hit after nine minutes of play, according to the Sun Herald.

Second jackpot on Sunday

Two days later, Baker struck again on Sunday morning, winning $143,898.87 on a $1 Lightning 10-Year Storm slot machine in the casino's High Limit area. He placed a $100 bet and hit the jackpot after eight minutes.

Record year for casino

The two wins bring Baker's total to $300,375.14 for the weekend. The payouts mark the 31st jackpot of at least $100,000 at the Beau Rivage this year. Across Mississippi's Gulf Coast casinos, jackpots of $100,000 or more have now exceeded $8.5 million in 2026.

Casino background

The Beau Rivage, nicknamed the "Bellagio of the South," opened in 1999 but suffered major damage from Hurricane Katrina's 30-foot storm surge in 2005. The resort was rebuilt and reopened on the storm's one-year anniversary, August 29, 2006.
