President Donald Trump has launched a scathing 1,300-word attack against comedian Bill Maher on social media. The outburst followed an appearance by former press secretary Karoline Leavitt on Maher's show, Real Time with Bill Maher.

Conflict over White House dinner

The tension follows a White House dinner on October 15, which included Trump, Maher, Kid Rock, and ESPN host Stephen A. Smith. While Trump had previously expressed mutual liking for the comedian, his recent post labeled Maher a "COMPLETE AND TOTAL LOSER." Trump claimed that Maher had been eager to return to the White House for a second meeting but had since changed his behavior.

Trump also disputed Maher's account of the dinner's duration. While Maher joked that the meal lasted four hours, the president claimed the meeting lasted only two hours or perhaps even less.

Criticism of the comedian's show

During the recent episode of his show, Maher criticized Trump's approval ratings and poked fun at the president's previous comments regarding Senator Jon Husted's physique. In response, Trump attacked the authenticity of Maher's program, questioning whether the comedian uses a "laughter machine" to simulate audience reactions despite having a live audience.

Additionally, Trump accused Maher of lying about his show's ratings and suggested the comedian was acting out of insecurity. Maher has not yet responded to the lengthy social media post.
