Oscar-winning actor Michael Douglas has called on election officials to resist any attempts to undermine free and fair elections, specifically referencing the midterm contests and former President Donald Trump.
In a public appeal, Douglas urged officials to fight efforts that could lead to what he described as a "massacre" of democratic processes.
