The District of Columbia and the state of Virginia have filed a lawsuit seeking to block plans by former President Donald Trump to build a triumphal arch, according to reports.
The legal action challenges the proposed construction, though specific details about the arch's location, design, or the legal grounds for the suit were not immediately disclosed.
Trump, the Republican nominee for the 2024 presidential election, has not publicly commented on the litigation.
