Former President Donald Trump is preparing a series of midterm election tele-rallies from his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, following a security upgrade that includes anti-missile defenses.
The enhanced security measures come as Trump intensifies his political activity ahead of the November midterms. The tele-rallies will allow him to address supporters remotely while remaining at the fortified property.
Officials have not disclosed the full scope of the defensive installations, but the upgrades signal heightened security concerns around the former president's primary residence.
