Separate incident in Michigan
In a separate shooting at a Spirit Halloween store in Madison Heights, Michigan, a 21-year-old Detroit man died after being shot multiple times during an argument. The suspected shooter's wife, Alanna, told local media her husband fired in self-defense after being confronted by a man he knew. She said the man reached into his pockets, prompting her husband, a concealed pistol license holder, to open fire. Police, however, plan to pursue criminal charges.
