The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has warned consumers not to buy or serve Once Upon A Farm Tractor Wheels Organic Toddler Soft-Baked Bars after several reports of children choking on the product.
Choking Hazard Details
The FDA issued a recall notice on October 30 after receiving reports of toddlers aged 1.5 to 2.5 years suffering complete airway obstruction. The agency said the bars form a dry, sticky mass when chewed that standard choking interventions, including back blows and the Heimlich maneuver, may fail to dislodge. Some incidents required emergency response and hospital observation.
Recall Scope and Distribution
The recall covers all flavors, quantities, varieties, lot codes, and expiration dates. The product was sold nationwide online and at retailers including Costco, Target, and Walmart, and may also be available through Amazon and other third-party vendors. Retailers have been instructed to stop sales.
Consumer Guidance
Consumers are urged to immediately discard any of the product. In a choking emergency, call 911 if first aid measures fail to clear the obstruction.
