Police Scotland has confirmed it is conducting active enquiries into a visit by Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor to Balmoral Castle, the King's private estate in Scotland.
Force acknowledges received information
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said the force has received "information" and that enquiries are ongoing but at a very early stage. The spokesperson emphasized that all enquiries are evidence-led, with the needs of victim survivors at the heart of the investigation.
No further comment on ongoing enquiries
The force declined to confirm details of the ongoing enquiries, stating it would be inappropriate to comment further. The investigation focuses on the time the three individuals spent at the royal residence.
