U2 Announce First UK Stadium Shows in Decade for 2027 World Tour

By Basant El-Faramawy

Irish rock band U2 have announced their first British stadium concerts in ten years, confirming two nights at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 18 and 19 June 2027 as part of their Greatest Show On Earth World Tour. The shows mark the group's return to UK stadiums since their 2017 Twickenham performances celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Joshua Tree.

European Tour Schedule

The European leg opens in Stockholm on 26 April 2027, followed by dates in Paris, Lisbon, Amsterdam, Berlin and Milan before the London concerts. The tour takes its name from the band's latest single, "The Greatest Show On Earth," which is accompanied by a video from longtime collaborator Anton Corbijn.

New Album and Collaborations

A 16th studio album, Carnaval De Luz, is set for release on 13 November 2026. The 12-track record features collaborations with Brian Eno, Martin Garrix and Dolly Parton, and was produced by Jacknife Lee. It follows the surprise EPs Days of Ash and Easter Lily released earlier in 2026.

Ticket Sales

Tickets for UK and European dates will be available first through U2.com, with a subscriber presale beginning 2 November at 10am. An artist presale runs from 5 November, 10am to 10pm local time. Fans may purchase up to four tickets per show during presales and are encouraged to register on the U2 Ticketmaster page for early access.
