Comedian James Acaster made an unprecedented move during the latest roundtable on Celebrity Traitors by openly admitting he was a Traitor, a role that requires deception. Acaster had stated from the beginning that he did not want to lie, putting him at odds with the game's core mechanic.
Confession leads to elimination
At the roundtable, Acaster explained his situation to the other contestants, saying he had been made a Traitor against his preference. His honesty prompted the group to vote him out, ending his participation in the competition.
