Sharon Osbourne has shared intimate reflections on her late husband, Ozzy Osbourne, marking 15 months since the heavy metal icon passed away at the age of 76. The singer died at his home in Buckinghamshire following a heart attack, shortly after performing a triumphant farewell concert in Birmingham.

A final triumphant performance

The family is preparing to release a new documentary titled 'Back To The Beginning,' which captures Ozzy's final performance at Villa Park with Black Sabbath. Despite facing severe health challenges—including Parkinson's disease, a fractured vertebra, lung and heart conditions, and sepsis—Ozzy insisted on performing. Although doctors advised against it due to his weak heart, the singer appeared elated on stage, performing while seated on a throne.

Managing grief and private remembrance

Sharon described the enduring nature of her grief, noting that while one learns to live with the loss of a soulmate, the pain never truly disappears. To preserve his peace, the family chose to bury Ozzy in their private garden rather than a public graveyard. Sharon revealed that she visits his resting place every day and can see it from her window.

Legacy and fan tributes

The outpouring of love from fans was significant, with thousands gathering in Birmingham to pay their respects during his funeral procession. The upcoming film features tributes from prominent musicians, including Metallica's James Hetfield and Yungblud, highlighting Ozzy's profound influence on the music industry. Sharon noted that despite his physical struggles, the final concert allowed Ozzy to feel truly alive one last time.
