Kimi Antonelli will not take part in the Mexican Grand Prix media day, Formula 1 confirmed ahead of a weekend that could crown the drivers' champion. The Mercedes rookie's absence from Thursday's press conference and media sessions at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez comes as Max Verstappen stands on the verge of securing his fourth consecutive title. No reason was provided for Antonelli's non-attendance at the mandatory pre-event media obligations.
