The penultimate episode of Celebrity Traitors airs Thursday at 8pm on BBC One, with reports promising a "sensational turn of events" that producers did not anticipate. A source told The Sun the instalment features a twist "never seen on the show before" as the three hidden Traitors – King Kenny, Maya Jama and James Acaster – approach the final with six Faithfuls remaining.
Cliffhanger Leaves Banishment Undecided
Last Friday's episode ended on a cliffhanger after a tied vote between Sharon Rooney and Joanne McNally at the roundtable. King Kenny's deciding vote was not revealed, meaning one more Faithful will be banished before the final. The Traitors' position remains strong regardless of the outcome.
Bookmakers Favor King Kenny for Win
Oddschecker lists King Kenny as the favourite to win the prize pot at 7/4, with Maya Jama at 11/4 and James Acaster at 9/2. Among the Faithfuls, Michael Sheen leads at 14/1, while James B, Leigh-Anne, Romesh and Bash are each 16/1. Joanne McNally and Sharon Rooney are priced at 20/1 pending tonight's result.
Gender Disparity in Banishments Noted
Analysis of roundtable statistics shows more women have been banished and received more overall votes than men in the 2026 series, a marked difference from previous years. The data highlights an "elephant in the room" regarding the gender balance of eliminations.
Joanne McNally Defended by Co-Star
Comedian Joanne McNally faced criticism for her "mean girl" behaviour during a clash with Miranda Hart in the previous episode. One of her fellow contestants has since spoken out in her defence, describing her abrupt roundtable manner as part of her game strategy.
