Ben Duckett continued his remarkable form at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium, scoring a career-best one-day 167 to power England to 386 for five in the dead‑rubber tri‑series match against Sri Lanka.
Duckett's back‑to‑back centuries
The left‑hander notched his third century in four innings at the venue, adding 163 runs for the first wicket with Tom Banton (74) and a further 107 with captain Harry Brook (44 off 34 balls).
England accelerate late
Will Jacks, Jordan Cox and Sam Curran were promoted up the order, with Cox smashing 43 off 27 balls before falling on the final delivery. Curran finished unbeaten on 21 off 12 as England exploited a Sri Lankan attack that conceded heavily, Eshan Malinga leaking 101 runs in his 10 overs.
Series context
England, already eliminated from the final after three successive defeats, are chasing a consolation win. Sri Lanka, who chased down 430 to beat England in Rawalpindi last week, will face Pakistan in Saturday's final.
