Jake Paul has announced he will return to the boxing ring in Dubai on Christmas Eve, though his opponent remains unconfirmed.
Defeat to Joshua and recovery
The 29-year-old has not fought since suffering a damaging sixth-round loss to former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in December 2025. Paul’s jaw was broken in two places, requiring two surgeries.
Career record and recent fights
Paul holds a professional record of 12 wins and two defeats from 14 bouts, with seven knockouts since his 2020 debut. His only other loss came against Tommy Fury in February 2023, while he scored a victory over Mike Tyson in 2024.
‘Hungrier than ever’ for Dubai comeback
Posting on X, Paul declared he is “hungrier than ever” and described Dubai as a city that “thinks big, breaks boundaries, and doesn’t believe in limits.” He said a list of potential opponents exists and awaited a signed contract, adding: “Santa Paul is coming to town, and somebody’s getting knocked out.”
