Jake Paul has confirmed his return to boxing on Dec. 24 in Dubai, 10 months after his stoppage loss to former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.
Comeback Details
The American, 29, will fight in Dubai on Dec. 24, with an opponent yet to be announced. "I've spent years proving people wrong, taking risks, and pushing myself against opponents nobody thought I'd face," Paul said. "Nothing that's happened has changed my belief in myself or what I'm working toward. I'm hungrier than ever, and on Thursday, 24 December, I'm returning to the ring in Dubai to start the next chapter of my journey."
Previous Defeat and Injury
Paul was stopped in six rounds by Joshua in Miami last December, suffering a broken jaw that required surgery and led to speculation he might retire. He entered that bout with a 12-1 professional record.
Career Background
Paul's only previous loss came against Tommy Fury by decision in 2023. He has notable wins over former UFC fighters Nate Diaz, Ben Askren, Mike Perry, Anderson Silva, and Tyron Woodley, as well as boxing legends Mike Tyson and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
Broadcast and Promotion
No broadcaster has been announced for the comeback bout, though Paul's Most Valuable Promotions has previously partnered with Netflix, ESPN, DAZN, and Sky Sports.
