Season two of Celebrity Traitors is approaching its finale with a prize pot that currently stands at £59,500, with a maximum of £100,000 available depending on challenge performance. The celebrities compete to donate their winnings to chosen charities.
Celebrity Fees Reported at £40,000 Flat Rate
Reports indicate celebrities receive a flat fee of £40,000 for participation, though former rugby player Joe Marler said he was paid £30,000 for the 2025 series. The BBC declined to comment on fees.
Prize Structure Differs from Civilian Version
Unlike the regular version where contestants keep the jackpot, celebrity winners give their prize to charity. The civilian version offers a higher total prize of £120,000. Last year's winner Alan Carr donated £87,500 to Neuroblastoma UK.
Notable Contestants This Series
This year's cast includes Michael Sheen, Maya Jama, and James Acaster, among others. Previous series featured Richard E Grant, Ross Kemp, and Claudia Winkleman as host.
