The crash involved a white Nissan Juke and a black Audi S3. According to Avon and Somerset Police, the collision followed a short pursuit involving an unmarked police vehicle and the Nissan Juke. Tragically, a teenage boy traveling as a passenger in the Nissan Juke died at the scene.

Two other teenagers from the Nissan Juke were transported to the hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. The driver of the Audi S3 was also taken to the hospital for medical assessment.
