Flávio Bolsonaro, son of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, arrived at a Miami-area airport with his family following his defeat in Brazil’s presidential election.
US visas issued
The U.S. State Department confirmed it would issue visas to Bolsonaro and his family, allowing their entry into the country.
Passport surrender order
Before departing Brazil, the Supreme Court ordered Bolsonaro to surrender his passports as part of an ongoing money-laundering investigation. He has not been charged and denies the allegations.
