The U.S. State Department announced Tuesday it will issue visas to defeated Brazilian presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro and his family, according to an Associated Press report.
The decision comes after Bolsonaro's loss in Brazil's presidential election. The State Department did not immediately disclose the specific visa category or the reasons behind the approval for the former candidate and his relatives.
