Tesla CEO Elon Musk said production of the company's Cybertruck is "winding down" at its Texas factory to focus on self-driving Cybercab vehicles.
The Cybertruck, launched in 2023, has received a mixed response, with some praising its design and others criticizing its appearance. It has also faced disappointing sales, quality problems, and recalls.
Musk did not specify whether manufacturing will be relocated or simply cease. The vehicle is currently produced only at Tesla's Austin facility.
