Walmart faces a class-action lawsuit alleging that its Great Value brand frozen shrimp bags contain 11 percent ice, effectively reducing the amount of actual shrimp customers receive.

The complaint claims the retailer uses excessive ice glaze in its frozen shrimp packaging, which the plaintiff argues violates consumer protection laws and constitutes fraud.
Walmart has not yet issued a public response to the litigation.
