England manager Thomas Tuchel is set to announce his latest squad on Friday for crucial Nations League fixtures against Croatia and Spain, with the Three Lions aiming to secure a quarter-final berth.
Qualification on the line
England sit third in Group A3 after four matches, having won three and lost once — a defeat to Spain at Wembley. They host Croatia on Thursday before travelling to Madrid to face group leaders Spain on Sunday, and a single point from either game would guarantee progression to the knockout rounds in March.
Selection dilemmas
Tuchel must decide whether to recall Chelsea playmaker Cole Palmer, who withdrew from the September squad, a move that left the manager unimpressed. Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice, who missed the last camp to manage his workload, could return to the fold.
Press conference at Wembley
The squad will be confirmed at 10am BST, followed by Tuchel's press conference at Wembley Stadium at 11am BST, where he is expected to address the selection calls and the team's preparation for the double-header.
