The FBI executed a court-authorized search warrant at a residence in Southern California on Tuesday as part of an ongoing criminal investigation connected to former Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell, the agency confirmed.
Agents conducted the operation in the Los Angeles region early in the morning, according to an FBI spokesperson. Sources told ABC News that Swalwell does not live at the home but is believed to have stayed there for a period. The FBI declined to provide further details about the investigation.
