By Fatma Younis

James Blunt has revealed that Romesh Ranganathan donated to his chosen charity, the Blue Marine Foundation, after banishing him during the final roundtable of the BBC's Celebrity Traitors. Speaking on Hits Radio, Blunt dismissed rumours of a feud, describing Ranganathan as a "very sweet human being" and insisting they get on "very well."

Final showdown and prize money

Blunt, 52, reached the final of the celebrity spin-off but was banished by fellow faithfuls Ranganathan, 48, and actor Sebastian "Bash" Croft. The winning pair split the £83,000 prize fund between their charities, Choose Love and the Refugee Council.

Record audience for finale

Friday's conclusion attracted an average overnight audience of 11.2 million viewers, the highest for the series, with a peak of 11.6 million and a 62.9% audience share on BBC One. The show is hosted by Claudia Winkleman and features 21 celebrity contestants attempting to identify hidden traitors.
