A Tennessee inmate serving a life sentence for murder was recaptured Tuesday in Missouri after more than a week on the run, authorities said.
Escape and Flight
Jacob Morley, 28, escaped from the Northwest Correctional Complex in northwestern Tennessee on Oct. 25, slipping through a fence in his prison clothes. Surveillance video showed him stealing a truck from a farm about two miles away. The truck was found abandoned last week in Marion, Illinois, about 120 miles north of the prison.
Recapture
Morley was apprehended in Missouri on Tuesday. Officials did not immediately release details of the capture.
