Qatar has expressed optimism that the United States and Iran can reach an agreement, according to a report from Al Jazeera's Newsfeed. The Gulf state maintains hope for a diplomatic resolution between the two nations amid ongoing tensions.
The statement comes as regional actors continue to monitor negotiations concerning Iran's nuclear program and broader bilateral relations. Qatar has previously served as a mediator in talks between Washington and Tehran.
