Trading platform Plus500 has raised its full-year sales and earnings guidance following a significant increase in its customer base during the third quarter. The FTSE 250 company reported attracting 28,747 new customers in the three months ending September 30, representing a 27% increase compared to the same period last year.
Financial Performance and Growth
The group's quarterly revenues rose by 11% to $203.2 million, while underlying earnings grew by 7% to reach $88.4 million. Based on this strong performance during the first nine months of 2026, the company expects its full-year results to exceed market expectations. Most analysts had previously projected annual revenues of $837.6 million and earnings of $358 million.
Strategic Expansion and Product Innovation
Chief Executive David Zruia attributed the results to significant strategic and operational progress, including an expanded global reach and a wider product suite that attracts higher-value customers. The company is also pursuing strategic acquisitions, having recently announced deals to purchase two broker-dealers in the United States and Brazil.
Plus500 has diversified its offerings by entering the prediction markets sector and launching products tied to sporting events. Recent innovations include the introduction of 24/5 trading for stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Additionally, the platform has expanded its capabilities to allow 24/7 trading for gold, silver, oil, and natural gas to meet evolving customer preferences.
