Harry Kane paraded the Ballon d'Or trophy before Bayern Munich's Bundesliga match against Borussia Dortmund at the Allianz Arena on Saturday, his first game since being crowned the world's best player on Monday.

The England captain was applauded onto the pitch by both teams as the anthem "Land of Hope and Glory" played. Accompanied by his wife, Katie Goodland, and their four children, Kane addressed the crowd, saying he was "extremely proud to be a FC Bayern Munich player" and thanked fans for their incredible support since his arrival.

Kane became the first English player to win the Ballon d'Or since 2001, beating Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal, and the first Bundesliga player to claim the prize since 1996. Last season he scored 73 goals in 64 appearances for club and country, including 36 Bundesliga goals in just 25 starts and a hat-trick in the German Cup final as Bayern secured a domestic double.
