Supermodel Heidi Klum has provided fans with a mysterious glimpse into her upcoming Halloween costume for her annual 2026 celebration. The 53-year-old, renowned for her elaborate and spooky transformations, shared a close-up image on Instagram featuring textured, flesh-like prosthetic makeup that has left followers speculating.

Fan Speculation Over Prosthetics

The teaser image, which features prosthetic creations resembling human organs or sea organisms, has ignited various theories among her followers. Some fans suggested the look might be inspired by sea creatures like sea urchins or sea cucumbers, while others proposed a connection to the character Ursula from The Little Mermaid. Other theories included a reference to the Cordyceps fungus infection from the series The Last of Us, or themes of body horror from the film The Substance.

A Tradition of Elaborate Costumes

Klum has a long history of high-concept costumes for her annual "Heidiween" party, which she has hosted in New York City since 2000. In 2025, she transformed into Medusa, featuring green scaly prosthetics and a snake headpiece, while her husband, Tom Kaulitz, dressed as a man turned to stone. Her previous creative endeavors include a peacock costume utilizing Cirque du Soleil performers and her iconic giant worm outfit.

While the specific theme for 2026 remains under wraps, Klum previously hinted that this year's look would be "bloody." She has noted in past interviews that she particularly enjoys costumes that involve significant physical transformations, such as aging herself or portraying extraterrestrial beings.
