King Charles III joined a Junkanoo parade in Nassau on Wednesday, setting aside royal formality during his Caribbean tour.
Wearing a suit and sunglasses, the King walked and danced at the front of the carnival, shaking maracas in the colors of the Bahamian flag alongside performers in feathered headdresses and bright costumes.
Cheering crowds lined the streets as the celebration of island life unfolded. The King has spent just over two days meeting boxers, charity workers, military personnel, and politicians.
The visit is part of a nine-day tour that will also take him to Guyana and Antigua and Barbuda.
