A Texas high school student has filed a lawsuit against her school after administrators canceled a planned production of "Little Shop of Horrors" because she was cast in a traditionally male role.
Lawsuit Follows Cancellation
The student's legal action challenges the school's decision to scrap the musical rather than allow her to perform in the role. The cancellation came after the casting choice drew complaints, according to the lawsuit.
